Knot Gallery welcomes the coalesence and congealment of all the creative practices. We look forward to the honesty and wonder that comes from melding so many crafts, practices and myriad ideas, and to the dialogue that inevitably transpires in the development of a dynamic, live community.
Operating out of a warehouse-style gallery in Sydney's inner-city from 2001-2005, Knot Gallery has since hosted exhibitions in other spaces as well as presenting creative activities at numerous festivals.
In 2007, two of Knot's founding directors, Alasdair Nicol & Michelle McCosker, created Reef Knot - a scalable artist collective whose installation work continues the underlying ethos of Knot Gallery through collaborations with other emerging and established creatives.
